Check Engine light
Check engine light on? Before going for your emissions test we will retrieve the trouble code your cars computer has generated free of charge. That will allow us to help you determine the best course of action on how to proceed to ensure your car is running efficiently. Unfortunately a check engine light will result in a failed emissions test.
Our cars and trucks must be kept in top condition in order to pass state-mandated emission testing every two years. The emission system in our modern vehicles is a complex series of components controlled mainly by the vehicle's computer. Our ASE certified technicians can diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair your vehicle's emission system to ensure that it is running optimally and will pass smog testing. If your vehicle has failed its test, bring us the Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR) that you received from the test lane, and we will resolve the issue(s) identified.
